I don't even know where to begin. I'd been having issues with hearing for quite afew years and was finally tested. Before I made a final decision to get hearing aids I wanted another opinion and choose "Hear The Birds". The whole procedure from the time I walked in the front door (I didn't feel like just another patient), the procedure which was explained with every step to choosing which brand I wanted was great to say the least. The cost along with payment options "oh my gosh" couldn't be beat ANYWHERE. I have been bragging and referring to this place and Jeffrey Bayliff to anyone who will listen

I have been a follower of Jeffrey Bayliff for nearly ten years, after finding his Hear the Birds Hearing Aid Center in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. I was diagnosed with hearing loss, caused by an acoustic neuroma over a decade ago, and I had surgery to help recover my hearing. My ENT doctor at Gheisinger in Danville recommended a hearing device that would bring my hearing back to near normal. It entailed a titanium bone implant behind my right ear that would attach and hold a BAHA hearing device, which worked through "conduction." I could hear very well just by placing the BAHA on my forehead, but the implant held the device all day long with no concern about losing it, due to an attachment provided by Jeffrey. After the surgery and the adaptations I made in using the BAHA, I was able to hear clearly, and my experiences in the classroom, teaching at Lock Haven University, were significantly improved. Driving to Danville, when I needed continual upgrades and training, was difficult, especially while also teaching and working with LHU faculty. Therefore, I began searching for a closer technician near Lock Haven. My experiences with Hear the Birds were tremendously helpful, as well as finding a wonderful friend in Jeffrey. He helped when my BAHA needed to be repaired or programmed, and even helped me order an upgrade after several years. I drove for 15 minutes, instead of one and a half hours on winter roads, to get to my appointments. I didn't have to get up before dawn to get to Danville, and I never had to cancel any more of my classes since my appointments were only less than an hour, instead of nearly a full day going to and from Danville. My experiences with Jeffrey have been tremendously helpful, friendly, and convenient, so I would like to recommend him for any audiology needs you may have. He is able to provide excellent hearing devices at low cost. (He recently gave me a discount for a replacement device, when my dog chewed up my 0ticon hearing aid that needed to be replaced.)

I new I needed help hearing the things I was missing out on for years. I tried cheap mail order aides that we nothing but static. I shopped almost every place locally and the prices are what made me delay. This was a great experience dealing with Jeff prices were great and he’s and is fantastic to deal with. Don’t wait any longer!!

Talk about a no pressure salesman - Jeff was so low keyed at my first appointment it seemed like he was going to give the hearing aids to me and, in fact, HE DID! He told me to take them home and wear them for two weeks, no money down, no deposit, just the assurance that if I was not 100% satisfied, I could bring them back and walk away without even a charge for his time and the hearing test. Needless to say, I am totally satisfied with both the hearing aids (I did my research and these are state of the art in hearing aid technology), and the service Jeff Bayliff provides. What a blessing to have such a kind and caring professional helping me to hear my grandchildren, my wife, friends, family, and of course, the birds!

Over the past 50 years I've been tested and fitted by numerous hearing aid centers. Jeff Bayliff with Hear The Birds hearing aid center is the absolute best!!! It's never been about the money with Jeff Bayliff.......he is a genuine man who actually cares about his clients and their ability to hear. He takes the time to actually listen to you and he will bend over backwards to make sure your happy. By the way......I have never in my life written a review. But I've made an exception with Jeff Bayliff......his caring, kind, respectful demeanor warrant a good praise report.

Jeff Bayliff deserves a Doctorate Degree in customer service. He goes way beyond your expectations. Jeff I cannot only "Hear the Birds" but the crickets as well.
